Frequently Asked Questions


All Alberta Tactical Rifle Supply ("ATRS") rifles & ATRS manufactured parts are only warranted by ATRS. Any repairs or modifications of any kind performed by any person or business other than ATRS will void the warranty. ATRS will only warranty the parts of the rifle built by ATRS. All other manufactures parts and components on the rifle are the sole responsibility of said manufacturer.

All other products are under the manufactures warranty and are not the responsibility of Alberta tactical rifle supply.

Transportation to and from our repair facilities, government fees, damage caused by failure to perform normal maintenance, sales outside Canada, damage due to high velocity, high pressure, reloaded or other nonstandard ammunition, or any unauthorized repair, modification, misuse, abuse, or alteration of the product is not covered under Warranty.

 ATRS will not be held liable for semiautomatic rifle magazine feeding issues. To many variances occur between magazine dimensions and the different ammunition fed through them. We ensure functionality prior to selling each rifle by test firing each one.

All Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Please package your item adequately so it is protected for shipment.

Warranty items will be returned to the customer with a Shipping & Handling charge. Please refer HERE for shipping instructions


-Special Orders

All special orders require 100% deposit that is non-refundable and non-cancellable. Once the order is placed it can not be altered.
All custom rifle builds require a 50% deposit that is non-refundable and non-cancellable. Minor changes to a custom rifle build can be made within 1 month of placing the order. Any changes to a custom rifle build are subject to a $25 administration fee.
We encourage clients to ask lots of questions before an order is placed.

 -Website Orders

ATRS reserves the right to cancel orders and refund customers' money because of pricing errors (or for any reason).

We continually update our site on a daily basis but products can go out of stock quickly as we have a brick and mortar storefront as well.
If we cannot fill a web order due to not having stock, we will contact you to explore other options.

Product descriptions and specifications can change at anytime. Please ensure product is to your requirements before purchasing. Don't be afraid to ask questions.


Notify us immediately if the product in your order has been damaged due to shipping. Examine your order upon delivery to ensure that there are no visible signs of damaged, missing or incorrect pieces. In the event that there are missing, damaged or incorrect packages, please retain the item and original packaging and contact ATRS.

If your order has not arrived in a reasonable time please contact us.

When will I receive my delivery?

In the shopping cart, you will receive an Estimated Delivery Date. Please note that this is not a guaranteed delivery date for your order. Some areas may take longer due to the frequency of deliveries to the delivery zip code. Our system calculates this estimated date considering the total amount of time to process your order including: packaging, transit time to the delivery provider, and transit time to the delivery address.

When placing your order, we consider these factors when calculating the Estimated Delivery Date :

  • Order Processing: The amount of time it takes for us to prepare your order for shipping. This typically takes 1 – 2 days however, some orders may ship within as few as 4 hrs and some may take up to 3 days.
  • Transit Time: The amount of time it takes your order to leave our distribution center and arrive at the local delivery carrier.

-Returns and Cancellation Policy

All returns, exchanges, or refunds of your ATRS purchases must be returned within 60 days of purchase, in its original condition and packaging, accompanied by your receipt. Credit to the original method of payment or a store credit will be provided as required. In the event of lost sales receipt a $50.00 charge is applied for retrieval of the records.

  • All returns must have prior authorization from ATRS.
  • The shipping cost of the return must be paid by the customer.
  • All special orders and custom rifle builds are not returnable and are non-cancellable.
  • Ammunition, powder and primers cannot be returned. 
  • Returns are subject to a restocking charge.
  • Collect shipments, or COD will not be accepted.


We do not accept any COD return shipping parcels.

All returns require prior authorization from ATRS

Note: Shipping charges will not be refunded unless an error occurred on our part in the shipment of your order

Our 60-day return policy does not apply to the following items:


  • Ammunition, Gun Powders and Primers may not be returned due to safety considerations.
  • Optics including: Binoculars, Scopes, Spotting Scopes, Range Finders and Sights.
  • Electronics include: Kestrel Meters, Chronographs and Scales.

ATRS reserves the right to limit or decline returns and exchanges.
